Maricar Reyes-Poon’s New Cake Creation Is The Latest Ube-Cheese Dessert You Should Try!

Even if the ube cheese pandesal trend is slowly dying down, the ube-cheese combination will always be here to stay. The latest dessert that combines the sweet, earthy ube with salty cheese is Maricar's Chocolate Cake's new Ube Cheese Chunks (P255).

Similar to the bakeshop's cake-in-a-jar concept, the bottled Ube Cheese Chunks is made with cubes of soft, light Japanese-style cheesecake swimming in premium ube cream.


Just picture the Japanese-style cheesecake chunks soaking up the ube cream! This makes the cheesecake chunks richer, plus there's an explosion of creamy ube flavors in every bite. 

Maricar's Chocolate Cakes made the Ube Cheese Chunks (P255) available for pre-order this August 20 and 21, 2020, but all of the slots are already taken. Thankfully, you can still send Maricar's Chocolate Cakes a message on Instagram to reserve a spot so that once the Ube Cheese Chunks is available again, you will be prioritized.
