It’s Finally Open! Here's a First Look at Unimart in Estancia, Capitol Commons

Pasig folks, there's a new grocery store in town!

It’s been a long wait for grocery fans but Unimart in Capitol Commons, Pasig, finally opened its doors on  February 19. This is Unimart’s second branch, following the renovation of the 40-year old branch in Greenhills, San Juan.

With wide aisles and spacious grocery space much like the Greenhills branch, the newest Unimart’s shelves are packed and well-stocked with local favorites and imported brands. They even have a few Asian items we haven’t seen in most groceries: think Japanese dashi (soup and cooking stock), instant miso soup packs, and Meiji chocolates’ bean to bar line with flavors such as Sunny Milk and Matcha.

The new Unimart branch is pretty organized—making grocery shopping a breeze.

What we’re also happy about: the eggs are placed in the chiller, and in the same area, we found quail eggs and century eggs!

So many options just for one brand!

Decorative storage jars start at P400.

Those who love getting everything in one space will be happy to know that the produce section is well-stocked and we spied brussels sprouts, asparagus, chesa, grapefruit, and even passionfruit alongside the more common local fruits and leafy greens in season.

Much like the Greenhills counterpart, they also have a wine cellar and deli corner: you can get cold cuts, cured meats, wines, and cheese without having to make a separate trip to the deli. Now, who’s ready to go grocery-shopping?
