If you’ve tried the dishes at Italian restaurant Va Bene, you’ll know that each plate that comes out of the kitchen is a treat: they have freshly-made pasta and sauces prepared a la minute. Add premium ingredients such as Oliviers&Co. oils and condiments and you know that you’ll have a meal worth remembering.
Oliviers&Co., distributor of olive oil and other flavored oils partnered with Va Bene’s Chef Massimo Veronessi for menu items using Oliviers&Co. products. The dishes will be available at Va Bene’s Central Square, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig branch until July 15.
“For each dish, I chose the oil with the right characteristics to give it an unexpected, delectable flavor,” said Chef Massimo shared. Chef Massimo opened his first Va Bene Italian Deli branch in Makati in 2011 after being the chef of Manila Peninsula’s Mi Piace for many years.
The menu includes a Tuna Carpaccio made with straciatella cheese, and finished with the Lemon Specialty Olive Oil while the the Aglio E Olio is served with homemade linguine pasta, clams, zucchini, and is delicately-flavored with the same lemon specialty olive oil from Oliviers&Co.
Those who like heftier plates can go for the Tomato Risotto, a creamy plate made with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, buffalo straciatella cheese, and the 2017 Affiorato Oil. Dessert fans have more than one option: Va Bene’s Summer Panna Cotta combines sweet and tart flavors (it’s drizzled with a blueberry condiment) while the serving of Strawberry & Fig gives you layers of sweet fruit flavors from fresh strawberries and fig condiment.
