Their St. Valentine’s 2023 set menu (P8,000/person) ticks all the right boxes with oysters, caviar, foie gras, strawberries, and your choice between the Double Gold Tenderloin Medallion or Double Gold Striploin as your main. French food for Valentine’s is a no-fail, and BGC’s Sagana is one spot that does the cuisine justice. Their four-course Valentine’s menu (P2,250/person) shines the spotlight on Chef Marc Aubry’s great handle on classic French fare, with courses like the Warm Mushroom, Farmed Chicken & Duck Foie Gras Pate in Puff Pastry appetizer; Seared Hitachiwagyu Beef Chuck Roll; and the Iced Fresh Strawberry & French Vanilla Bavarois Cream for dessert. When you think of Valentine’s food it’s likely Western or continental fare that comes to mind—but there’s totally no reason you can’t bring in Asian flavors to the mix. Let One World Kitchen’s Valentine’s Day menu (by Babu’s Chef Him Uy de Baron!) show you how. You can only imagine how much more so come Valentine’s day, especially as they’ve got an eight-course set menu (P4,000/head) inspired by the world of flora and going by the Filipino motif Ninyo’s known for.
