Vegetables are best eaten as fresh as the day they were picked, and the less packaged and processed they are, the better. But since not everyone has time to head to the market to get their greens, the GreenEarth Heritage Foundation delivers the greens to you.

Their organic produce are grown in plots located all over land that was donated to them, located in San Miguel, Bulacan, on the foothills of the Sierra Madre. They grow a long list of produce, more than 30 varieties of vegetables and herbs, like eggplants, lettuce, sweet potatoes, among others (see complete list here!). The organization is a member of Organic Farmers and Processors Association of the Philippines (OFPAP).

According to the GreenEarth Heritage team, "We are able to grow what thrives well organically in where we are. We are also focused on promoting native vegetables that are know to be nutrient-dense. All our harvest offerings are well patronized. Different strokes for different folks!"

They also offer Moringa Tea and Powder, which can be found in several stores within the city. Their flagship product is USDA /Ecocert Certified-Organic/Fair Trade Certified. You can also have Moringa, or more popularly known as Malunggay, as part of your organic produce delivery.

Their delivery service started back in 2010, and all are pesticide-free, chemical free, pre-washed and packaged within 24 to 48 hours after harvest. And each bundle costs just P50! The best part is that every peso you pay for your delivered produce goes back to the foundation to fund their livelihood programs. According to GreenEarth Heritage's organizational profile, their farmers' produce is sold at "3 to 5 times higher prices than what has been the norm for them for years, improving their incomes significantly."

The GreenEarth Heritage Foundation aims to build an "eco-farming community" that will include everything, from schools to a community-training center, for farming families it has adopted and employed. According to the GreenEarth Heritage team, "Our livelihood program sustains the income of our farmers, and takes them away from their former temptation jobs of illegal logging and charcoal making whenever they do not make enough."

If you're a first-time client, email your name, address, and cellphone number to [email protected] so that you can be sent a weekly list of available produce every Tuesday. Once they get your order, the greens will be delivered from Tuesday evening to Wednesday. The minimum amount you can order is 5 packs, and they deliver if you're located within Makati or BGC. "Due to our one-vehicle situation and worsening traffic situation around Metro Manila, even if people would like to pay, we are just not logistically equipped to handle deliveries outside our limited area." And while the foundation prefers that you pay by check, you also have the option to pay Cash On Delivery.
