It's been more than a decade since Vice Ganda started hosting "It's Showtime," a noontime variety show in the Philippines. This was followed by "Gandang Gabi Vice," a late-night comedy talk show which was first aired back in 2011. Being in the industry for a long time as a television host, actor, comedian, and singer, it's no wonder that Vice Ganda has formed close friendships in the showbiz industry throughout his career.
In an interview with Summit Media journalists, Vice Ganda shared with Yummy.ph that he loves beef pares. When asked who among his celebrity friends he'd want to cook for him, Vice Ganda exclaimed without hesitation, "It's Anne Curtis because I miss her so much!"
"Gusto ko na siya makita, gusto ko na siya yakapin, gusto ko na siya yugyugin, gusto ko siyang itulak... lahat! The things we used to do bago nagka-pandemic, bago nagka-anak [si Anne Curtis], miss na miss ko na 'yun."
Considering Anne Curtis has never cooked for Vice Ganda before, the actor still requested her to cook for him just for the sole reason that he really misses her.
He adds, "Since hindi naman siya nagluluto, I will ask her to ask her husband [Erwan Heussaff] na aralin [ang pagluto] ng pares tapos ipagluto niya for me."
Erwan Heussaff, the husband of Anne Curtis, is a video content creator who focuses on all things food through his YouTube channel, FEATR. Just to give you an idea of Anne Curtis' cooking skills, here's a video of Erwan blindfolded, guiding Anne how to cook:
