Since the last quarter of 2021, Baguio’s famous Vizco’s started to branch out their dessert shop-café in Metro Manila. It started with SM Megamall, followed by SM North EDSA, and now, it’s going to be followed by two more branches: SM Grand Central in Caloocan and SM Clark in Pampanga.
Yummy.ph spoke with Jackie Vizcocho-Dizon of Vizco’s Restaurant and Cake Shop, and she says that the SM Grand Central branch will open first, followed by SM Clark, but with no definite dates yet.
Vizcocho-Dizon says that the soon-to-open SM Grand Central and SM Clark branches are cafes and will offer the same menu as the ones at SM North and SM Megamall. Yes, the menu includes the famous Strawberry Shortcake, a.k.a. the cake that’s always part of anyone’s Baguio eat-inerary and pasalubong list.
As for the seating capacity, the SM Grand Central branch can only seat nine (9) diners, while the Pampanga branch will be a bigger space and can seat 54 people.
The soon-to-open Vizco’s branch at SM Grand Central will be the third Vizco’s branch in Metro Manila, while the other soon-to-open Vizco’s branch at SM Clark will be the first Vizco’s branch that’s outside Baguio and outside Metro Manila.
