Long gone are the days when you have to plan a trip to Baguio or ask someone who is heading up north to bring home Vizco’s Restaurant and Cake Shop‘s famous strawberry shortcake for pasalubong. The bakeshop recently announced that they are finally opening in Metro Manila. We just confirmed that Vizco’s is not just opening one branch in Metro Manila, but two branches which will be located at SM Megamall and SM North EDSA!
It is now confirmed that the SM Megamall branch is scheduled to open on November 21, 2021 at the Lower Ground Floor, SM Megamall, Building A. This branch, unlike the ones in Baguio, will only be a takeout cake store.
To celebrate the opening of the first Vizco’s Restaurant and Cake Shop branch in Metro Manila, they are giving away a FREE Vizco’s-branded umbrella to the first 50 customers on November 21.
Yummy.ph got in touch with Jackie Vizcocho Dizon, the owner of Vizco’s Restaurant and Cake Shop, for more details on the Metro Manila branches. Dizon says that they are targeting to open the SM North EDSA branch on November 28, 2021 but of course, that is not set in stone yet.She adds that the SM North EDSA branch is going to be a café with cakes, pastries, beverages, and a dining area good for 16 people.
