Last May, the Omnifoods addressed the link between eating meat and the pandemic by launching a plant-based luncheon meat, which they called the Omnifood Luncheon. This product claims to be cholesterol-free, has zero carcinogenic nitrates, 49 percent lower in fat, and is 62 percent lower in sodium.
This was first distributed in parts of Hong Kong, but now will now be available in the Philippines! Prime Pacific Foods Corp., the company that brought the Omnifood Luncheon to the Philippines, will make it available through their Whole Mart website starting November 15. OmniPork Luncheon contains zero cholesterol, provides high protein, dietary fiber, potassium, and calcium. Compared to traditional canned luncheon meat, OmniPork Luncheon’s calories and total fat are content are 40% and 49% lower respectively, sodium content is also 62% lower and does not contain any carcinogenic nitrates. This product is cruelty-free, non-GMO, contains no added hormones, antibiotics, and MSG.
If you want to switch to a plant-based diet, Whole Mart also has other products available, one of which is the Omnipork (a plant-based ground pork) and different Beyond Meat products like their sausages, burger patties, ground beef.
The Omnifood Luncheon is priced at P280 for a 240-gram pack available via Whole Mart. This can be delivered within Metro Manila and parts of Rizal.
