Silvanas (also spelled as sylvanas and sylvannas), by its textbook definition, are frozen dessert cookies made with crunchy nutty meringue with layers of buttercream filling in between. As simple as it seems, it is a popular dessert among Pinoys and if you've ever tried one or made one from scratch, it's easy to understand why this is a well-loved dessert.
