Get the New York Steakhouse Experience at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

A simple and straightforward menu and interiors filled with dark wood will greet you at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse at the Podium Mall in Ortigas— it is after all a New York steakhouse through and through. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse was opened by Mr. Wolfgang Zwiener after having worked as head waiter at the legendary Peter Luger’s steakhouse in New York for more than 40 years.

 

It is the brand’s second outpost in the Philippines (the first one opened in Resorts World, Pasay City in 2016) and has elements of original locations in New York. There’s a mahogany solid wood bar, wooden planked floors, an alabaster chandelier, and a mosaic tile ceiling that will transport you to their NYC locations. But the star of the show is really the Porterhouse steak: dry-aged for 28 days and arrives at your table with a quiet, confident sizzle. It is cooked only with salt and sits grandly on a plate with a light caramelized crust.

 


 

The restaurant offers strictly USDA Prime Black Angus beef which is dry aged for 28 days. The process makes the beef tender, with a pronounced beef flavor. Make sure to pair the meats with their classic sides such as the creamed spinach and German potatoes. Leave room for dessert!
