The pandemic has brought several plant-based options to our dining table, from plant-based lechon, plant-based luncheon meat, and several plant-based burgers from fast food chains. Now, we also welcome a new plant-based option: Wonder Meat’s Wonder Grounds.
Wonder Grounds is completely plant-based, gluten-free, soy-free, MSG-free, and it’s locally made! When it comes to the texture, it can definitely pass off as meat. It’s just as juicy, too.
This faux meat is a great substitute for any dish that uses ground meat, such as lasagna, Arroz a la Cubana, nachos, and even giniling. Just don’t forget to season or add spices to the Wonder Grounds to give it more flavor. For example, if you want to use Wonder Grounds for nachos, you should mix a bit of nacho powder with the plant-based meat before frying.
