You Only Need Two Ingredients to Make Yakult Ice Cream at Home
The perfect dessert for Yakult fans.
Besides just having the constant craving for Yakult on its own, people have been creating all sorts of concoctions using the Japanese probiotic drink as a base. A popular example would be the Soju Yakult cocktail and other fun creations like Yakult slushies. If you're looking for a new recipe to make the most of your Yakult stash at home, you may want to try whipping up some Yakult ice cream!
YouTubers and food bloggers Karla Niña Mallanao and Ian Corpuz, a.k.a. The Hungry Traveler PH, shared a super simple recipe on their channel. You'll be happy to know that it only calls for two ingredients, so it's easy to make and budget-friendly!
Here's how to make it:
Yakult Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 3 bottles of Yakult
- 1 can chilled Kremdensada
How to make Yakult ice cream
1 Pour the chilled Kremdensada into a bowl and whip it with a hand mixer until it doubles its yield.

2. Once your mixture has doubled, slowly add the Yakult.

3. Mix everything well until smooth and well incorporated.
4. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for a few hours or overnight.
5. Serve and enjoy!
