Inihaw na Liempo Recipe with Balsamic Vinegar Dip
Amp up the flavor of your grilled liempo with this delicious marinade and dip recipe.
Your classic liempo just got a delicious upgrade! Add a hint of saltiness and sweetness by using ingredients like Knorr Liquid Seasoning. Knorr Liquid Seasoning can be used as a dip, topper or marinade—it's incredibly easy to use and it can make any dish better.
To make the marinade:
1 cup Knorr Liquid Seasoning
1/4 cup garlic, chopped
1/4 cup calamansi juice
1 teaspoon fish sauce (patis)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 kilo pork belly
1 In a bowl, mix Knorr Liquid Seasoning, garlic, calamansi juice, fish sauce, and sugar until well-combined.
2 Add the pork belly and leave to marinate for 4 hours or overnight.
3 Cook in a grill pan over medium-high heat.
4 Serve with garlic rice, atsara, and dipping sauce, if preferred.
To make the dip:
5 tablespoons Knorr Liquid Seasoning
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl. Serve with your grilled liempo.
