Ingredients
Adobong Okra Ingredients
- 250 Grams okra
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped
- 1 piece bay leaf
- 1/2 Cup pork use ground pork
- 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
- 3 tablespoons Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- cornstarch Optional
- Salt
- 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped and fried to a crisp
- spring onions for garnish
Instructions
- Steam okra for about 5 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Set aside.
- Heat oil on a pan over medium high heat and sauté garlic, bay leaf, and ground pork until pork is lightly browned. Season with soy sauce, vinegar and sugar and allow to simmer for 3-5 minutes or until pork is tender. The sauce may be thickened with cornstarch if preferred. Season to taste.
- Pour this pork mixture over the okra and top with lots of fried garlic and spring onions.
