Ingredients
  

Adobong Okra Ingredients

  • 250 Grams okra
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped
  • 1 piece bay leaf
  • 1/2 Cup pork use ground pork
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • cornstarch Optional
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped and fried to a crisp
  • spring onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Steam okra for about 5 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Set aside.
  • Heat oil on a pan over medium high heat and sauté garlic, bay leaf, and ground pork until pork is lightly browned. Season with soy sauce, vinegar and sugar and allow to simmer for 3-5 minutes or until pork is tender. The sauce may be thickened with cornstarch if preferred. Season to taste.
  • Pour this pork mixture over the okra and top with lots of fried garlic and spring onions.
