Adobong Sitaw with Chicken Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 medium red onion peeled, sliced
  • 2 Small tomatoes chopped
  • 1 piece chicken breast fillet cut into strips
  • 1/4 Cup Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon black peppercorns crushed
  • 1/2 piece dried bay leaf
  • 1 bundle string beans trimmed, cut into 3-inch lengths


  • Sauté the garlic in oil until golden brown. Add the onions and cook until translucent. Then add the tomatoes and chicken strips. Stir fry until the chicken is cooked.
  • Add the soy sauce, vinegar, ground black pepper, and bay leaf, and let the mixture simmer on Low heat for 5 minutes or until the mixture slightly thickens. Add sitaw and simmer, tossing, until the string beans are tender yet crisp. Serve while hot.
