Sweeten the party with this festive dish.
4 pieces pork, use pork steaks
salt, to taste
1/2 teaspoon calamansi juice
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
butter, for frying
1 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1 piece apple
1/8 cup butter
3/4 cup all-purpose cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
For Pork Steak:
Season pork steaks with salt and pepper, calamansi juice and dried rosemary.
In a pan over high heat, fry pork steaks in butter. Set aside.
For Apple Sauce:
In a sauce pan combine water, sugar and apple, allow to simmer until water turns syrupy and apple is tender.
In a separate pan, place butter and apple simmered in syrup.
Add cream, and the apple syrup.
Mix in parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
Serve apple sauce with pork steak.
