The traditional holiday ham most of us know is flavored with pineapples. You can see these large rings on top of whatever kind of Christmas ham that your lola presents at the Noche Buena table at every Christmas holiday gathering!
For those who want to give this classic holiday dish a twist, this apple and honey glaze combo is one to try! It still gives your holiday ham a delicious fruity taste but since it’s apples, not pineapples, you don’t get that sharp tangy taste but get a more mellow sweet-tart taste that you might enjoy just as much as the original.
