1 (425-gram) can sweet corn kernels
1 (425-gram) can cream-style sweet corn
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons white sugar
2 medium egg
1/2 cup queso de bola
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup coarse breadcrumbs
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Make the corn casserole: Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Transfer to a baking dish.
Make the topping: Combine butter and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle all over the casserole. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until breadcrumbs are golden. Alternatively, you can bake the casserole in a turbo broiler set at 175°C. Serve hot.
