Ingredients
  

Baked Strawberry Tart

  • 1/4 Cup strawberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 pints strawberries sliced lengthwise
  • whipped cream

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, heat strawberry jam and water. Stir until well combined and smooth. Set aside and cool slightly.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Place puff pastry on a silicone mat-lined baking sheet.
  • Using a fork, prick puff pastry all over. Using a knife, draw a line on each side, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  • Brush puff pastry with the jam mixture, leaving the 1/2-inch border clean.
  • Arrange sliced strawberries over the area with the jam.
  • Brush additional jam over strawberries.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until tart is golden.
  • Remove from the oven. Serve warm with softly whipped cream or with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.
