Ingredients
  

Banana Bread With Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients

  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 2 Egg
  • 4 pieces banana (use overripe bananas), mashed
  • 1/4 Cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 Cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325ºF.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  • In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar. Beat until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, then bananas. Stir in walnuts, raisins, and vanilla extract.
     
  • Pour into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, lined with wax paper, and bake for 1 hour. Let cool.
  • Make the frosting: beat in an electric mixer using a paddle: combine cold cream cheese,  cold butter, and vanilla. Add the sugar in three batches. Mix until well incorporated then add the fresh lemon juice.
