Ingredients
Banana Rice Milkshake
- 1 Cup water
- 1/4 Cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon more to garnish
- 1/4 Cup day-old rice
- 3 pieces banana lakatan variety
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups ice
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar, salt, cinnamon, and in the water with rice and bring to a simmer, cooking until the rice softens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before placing in a blender and processing until smooth. Pour through a fine mesh strainer. Set aside to cool.
- To serve, peel and slice bananas, then place in a blender. Add in cooled rice milk, vanilla extract, and ice; process until smooth. Pour into glasses, sprinkle more ground cinnamon on top, and serve immediately.
