Beef and Mushroom Sopas Ingredients
- 125 Grams uncooked macaroni about 1 cup
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 200 Grams Ground beef
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt divided or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 1/4 cups water divided
- 1 piece beef bouillon cube
- 1 198-gram can mushrooms pieces, drained
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 medium carrot peeled, grated
- 1 Cup can evaporated milk
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- Add beef, and season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and ground pepper. Cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup water and simmer until water has evaporated. Add beef bouillon cube and mix.
- Add remaining water and bring mixture to a simmer, about 4 minutes.
- Add mushroom, celery, and carrots. Simmer for another 3 minutes.
- Add cooked macaroni, evaporated milk, and remaining salt. Bring back to a simmer, about 2 minutes. Serve hot.
