5 cups water
2 pieces beef bouillon cubes
150 grams beef, (use tendon), pre-cleaned (available at supermarkets and Chinese delis)
10 pieces chinese meatballs, sliced
salt, to taste
3 cups rice noodles
cilantro (wansoy), for topping
lime wedges, to serve
Combine water, bouillon cubes, and beef in a pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat; lower heat and simmer until beef is tender, about 5 to 10 minutes.
Add meatballs and simmer for another 3 minutes. Season with salt. Divide cooked rice noodles among 3 bowls. Add soup and beef. Top with meatballs, cilantro, and bean sprouts; serve with lime wedges.
