Ingredients
  

Beef Stroganoff

  • 500 Grams Beef (use rib-eye steak), sliced into 1 1/2-inch strips
  • 1/2 Cup Worcestershire sauce
  • black pepper to season
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 1 156-gram can button mushrooms sliced
  • 1/4 Cup chicken stock
  • 1 10.75-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt to season
  • 1 200-gram container sour cream
  • 300 Grams fettuccine noodles cooked according to package directions
  • parsley sprigs (chopped), for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Marinate beef strips in Worcestershire sauce and black pepper for 30 minutes.
  • Melt butter and heat oil in a large pan or wok. Sauté onions and mushrooms until onions are translucent. Add wine and let reduce until almost dry.
  • Drain beef from marinade. Increase heat and add sliced beef. Cook until evenly browned.
  • Add cream of mushroom soup; season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  • Stir in sour cream and pour over cooked noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
