Bistek or the Tagalog beef steak recipe is an aromatic and flavorful dish. It's a beef recipe that's loaded with umami. The flavors are from the beef itself and the soy sauce. It's complemented with the calamansi juice that gives the entire dish a delicious tang! 

It's a fantastic dish to serve with noodles, too, especially if you have a craving. All this takes is a few minutes to really make the instant noodle version but you can easily upgrade it with real beef, real vegetables, and real pancit canton noodles.
