Broccoli in Buffalo Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/3 Cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Butter melted
  • Salt to taste


  • Blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 1 minute or until half-cooked; drain and pat dry.
  • Beat egg and milk. Whisk in salt, paprika, all-purpose flour, and baking powder.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Dredge florets in all-purpose flour then dip in batter before deepfrying for a few seconds or until golden brown; drain.
  • Make the buffalo sauce: Combine hot sauce and melted butter; season with salt. Drizzle over broccoli.
