- 1 stick Butter
- 150 Grams mini marshmallows
- 1/3 Cup yellow cake mix
- 4 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
- Marshmallows to serve (optional)
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the marshmallows and melt in the butter. Season with a pinch of salt and stir in the cake mix until just combined.
- Turn off the heat and gently stir in the rice krispies. Immediately transfer the mixture into a 6 by 6 inch pan lined with parchment paper. Let the treats cool to room temperature, around 30 minutes, before slicing and serving. Top with toasted marshmallows.
