Chicken Adobo Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons canola oil for sauteeing
  • 1 clove Garlic crushed
  • 1/2 tablespoon peppercorns cracked
  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 1/2 Cup Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • water to cover meat


  • In a medium-sized pot with preheated oil, saute garlic and black peppercorns until brown.
  • Add the chicken pieces and sear until the chicken skin is browned.
  • Pour in the vinegar, soy sauce, and water. Simmer until oil is expressed from the chicken. Serve warm.
