Chicken Karaage Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo Chicken cut into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon Garlic diced
- 1 teaspoon ginger grated
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon mirin (japanese sweet rice wine)
- 2 to 3 cups vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 cups cornstarch
Instructions
- Combine chicken thigh fillets, diced garlic, and grated ginger in a large bowl. Add soy sauce and mirin; mix well. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Place cornstarch in a bowl. Dredge chicken in cornstarch, just enough to coat each piece.
