This chicken dish is easily a restaurant favorite but it’s easy enough to make at home. You can buy chicken drummettes (lollipop-style) in groceries and supermarkets or have your butcher do it for you for fuss-free cooking at home.

Chicken Lollipops Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/4 Cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 12 pieces chicken lollipops drummettes or wings part, lollipop-style
  • cooking oil for frying


  • Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well until all the spices are combined with the cornstarch and flour.
  • Dredge the chicken lollipops in the flour mixture. Coat all the sides.
  • Fry each chicken lollipop in hot oil. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Drain the chicken on paper towels to remove the excess oil. Serve with honey mustard sauce (optional).
