Chicken Piccata Ingredients

  • 400 Grams Chicken (use fillets), skinless
  • 1/2 Cup Flour seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1/2 breadcrumbs seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 Cup chicken stock
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon parsley sprigs chopped


  • Pound each breast fillet until uniform in thickness (about 3/4 inch each). Coat each fillet with flour, then dip in egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
  • Heat butter and oil on a pan. Fry coated chicken fillets about 2-3 minutes per side or until cooked. Remove chicken and let drain on paper towel.
  • Wipe the pan a bit and return to the heat. Add butter, lemon juice, chicken stock, and season to taste. Mix well then add chopped parsley. Pour sauce over the chicken just before serving.
