- 3 to 4 cups vegetable oil
- 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 Cup cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 1 kilo Chicken (use wings), cleaned, separated at the joint, and seasoned with salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons store-bought kiamoy powder available at Chinese and Asian groceries
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep-fryer or deep, heavy-bottomed pan.
- Combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper on a shallow plate.
