Crispy Kiamoy Chicken Wings Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 kilo Chicken (use wings), cleaned, separated at the joint, and seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 4 tablespoons store-bought kiamoy powder available at Chinese and Asian groceries


  • Preheat oil in a deep-fryer or deep, heavy-bottomed pan.
  • Combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper on a shallow plate.
  • Coat wings in flour mixture. Deep-fry until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. 
  • Drain chicken wings on a wire rack, then sprinkle generously with kiamoy powder.
