Here’s a light and healthy seafood dish that packs a lot of flavor! It’s quite similar to Chinese spareribs or fish in tausi but uses clams and prawns instead.

Ingredients
  

Clams and Prawns with Tausi Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1/2 Cup Onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger chopped
  • 4 tablespoons canned salted black beans (tausi)
  • 1/4 Cup green onions chopped
  • 1/4 Cup parsley finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 kilo Manila clams or halaan, cleaned
  • 1/3 kilo prawns cleaned
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion and ginger. Add Chinese black beans.
  • Add green onions and parsley, if using. Add water and simmer.
  • Add clams and prawns. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until the clams open and the prawns turn pink. Season with salt to taste.
