Ingredients
  

Dark Chocolate Champorado

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup glutinous rice
  • 3/4 Cup dark chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • sweetened condensed milk to serve (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Fill a medium-sized saucepan with water. Cook glutinous rice, stirring constantly until the rice is transparent in color and gooey in texture.
  • Add dark chocolate, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until chocolate has melted and sugar has dissolved. Serve in warmed bowls with milk drizzled on top, if desired.
