Ingredients
Dark Chocolate-Yogurt Mousse
- 1 (480 ml) container non-fat yogurt
- 57 dark chocolate
- 45 Grams cocoa powder
- 200 Grams Egg whites only
- 100 Grams coconut sugar
- whipped cream
- white chocolate (shavings), to serve (optional)
Instructions
- Allow yogurt to reach room temperature.
- In a stainless steel bowl, melt dark chocolate over a pot of simmering water. Combine yogurt with chocolate. Sift cocoa powder twice and fold into the chocolate-yogurt mixture. Warm the mixture over simmering water.
- In a separate bowl, beat together egg whites and sugar. Heat egg mixture over simmering water and beat until medium peaks form. Take off heat and fold the meringue into the chocolate-yogurt mixture. Transfer to ramekins or a serving dish. Chill in the refrigerator until mousse is set.
- To serve, dust confectioners sugar on top, or decorate with whipped cream and white chocolate shavings, if desired.
