Dark Chocolate-Yogurt Mousse

  • 1 (480 ml) container non-fat yogurt
  • 57 dark chocolate
  • 45 Grams cocoa powder
  • 200 Grams Egg whites only
  • 100 Grams coconut sugar
  • whipped cream
  • white chocolate (shavings), to serve (optional)


  • Allow yogurt to reach room temperature.
  • In a stainless steel bowl, melt dark chocolate over a pot of simmering water. Combine yogurt with chocolate. Sift cocoa powder twice and fold into the chocolate-yogurt mixture. Warm the mixture over simmering water.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together egg whites and sugar. Heat egg mixture over simmering water and beat until medium peaks form. Take off heat and fold the meringue into the chocolate-yogurt mixture. Transfer to ramekins or a serving dish. Chill in the refrigerator until mousse is set.
  • To serve, dust confectioners sugar on top, or decorate with whipped cream and white chocolate shavings, if desired.
