Easy Chicken Binagoongan Recipe

In a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat, heat oil. Add sliced onions and cook until just softened. Add chopped garlic saute until a bit browned. Add chicken strips and cook, stirring, until just cooked through. Season with pepper. 

Add bagoong alamang, tomatoes, siling haba, siling labuyo, and water. Bring to a simmer and reduce liquid until it becomes a sauce. 

Stir in Thai basil leaves, and simmer again just until the basil leaves are wilted. Remove from the heat and serve immediately with more basil.
