Focaccia Bread Recipe

Mix the water, granulated sugar, yeast, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and flour together in a bowl to form the dough. Knead the dough. 

In a separate bowl greased with oil, place the dough and set it aside to rise. This will take about 2 1/2 hours. 

Once dough is ready, you may transfer and flatten it out onto a baking pan. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 3 hours. 

After 3 hours, preheat oven to 450 degrees F or 230 degrees C. 

Press your fingers into the dough to create dimples.

Add extra virgin olive oil, garlic, rosemary, basil, salt, and pepper for toppings. Spread it evenly all throughout the surface. 

Bake until golden brown.
