Fried Chicken with Sweet and Spicy Glaze
- 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 Cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2-3 pieces chicken legs (use whole chicken legs)
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups cooking oil
- 1 Cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Make the breading: Mix flour, cornstarch, salt and flour in a bowl.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture, shake excess flour and fry until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
- In another small sauce pan, pour in honey, Sriracha, water, cornstarch, and chili flakes. Mix then season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 15 minutes until thick. Take off heat.
- Pour the glaze over the fried chicken before serving.
