Ingredients
  

Fried Mozzarella Sandwich

  • 1 Pack Italiano Mozzarella Block
  • 10 slices whole-wheat bread toasted lightly
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 4 Egg slightly beaten
  • 1 Pack unsalted butter
  • bamboo skewers
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 anchovy fillets chopped coarsely
  • 3 tablespoons capers
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/3 white wine
  • 2 tablespoons Italian parsley

Instructions
 

  • Layer the mozzarella cheese in the whole wheat bread to make a sandwich. Trim the sides and cut into desired shape.
  • Mix the milk and egg in a bowl then dip bread slices and fry lightly in a pan with melted butter. Stick bamboo skewers into the sandwich.
  • To make the sauce, sauté the garlic in olive oil until lightly brown. Add the rest of the ingredients except the parsley.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes then add the parsley.
  • Spoon sauce over sandwiches or use as dip.
