Ingredients

Frozen Mocha Mud Pie

  • 8 ounces cookies crushed
  • 1/4 Cup Butter melted
  • 2 pints coffee ice cream
  • Chocolate Candy
  • 1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Coffee use brewed coffee

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine crushed Oreos and melted butter. Then press the mixture onto a cake pan or individual pie plates. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Make the filling: Scoop softened coffee ice cream into the crust. Fill with Malteser candies as desired. Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Make the topping (just before pies are ready): Combine chocolate chips, butter, and coffee in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on low for 1 to 2 minutes or until melted. Allow to cool. Place inside a plastic bag and cut off one corner to make a drizzling tip.
  • When ice cream is ready and solid, drizzle the sauce topping over each pie in a zigzag motion on the surface. Freeze again until the topping is solid.
