Ingredients
Funfetti Cookies Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 Cup salted butter softened
- 2 ounces (about 1/4 cup) cream cheese softened
- 1 large Egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 Cup sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Whisk to combine and set aside.Â
- With a mixer, cream the butter, cream cheese, and white sugar together until light and fluffy, for about 8 minutes. Beat in the egg, vanilla, and almond extract.Â
- Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Do not over mix.Â
- Scoop out 1 by 1 inch balls of dough and roll them into sprinkles until they are coated. Flatten on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 9 minutes until firm and until the cookies are slightly browned at the bottom. Cool on a wire rack to room temperature.Â
