Ingredients
  

Ginisang Sayote Ingredients (Sauteed Chayote)

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 onion crushed
  • 1/4 kilogram pork sliced thinly
  • 3 pieces chayote peeled, seed removed, and sliced
  • 1 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Sauté the garlic and onion.
  • Add pork and then cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Add the chayote. Stir. Cover. Let simmer for 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Add salt and ground black pepper, to season. Stir and simmer for 5 more minutes. Serve.
