Ingredients
  

Grilled Char Siu Pork Chops

  • 1 Cup store-bought char siu sauce divided
  • 1 teaspoon Knorr SavorRich Pork
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine (Chinese rice wine)
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 450 Grams pork (use pork chops), sliced into 1/3-inch-thick pieces
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • snow peas (sitsaro) (stir-fried), to serve (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons char siu sauce, Knorr SavorRich pork, shaoxing wine, garlic, and black pepper. Pour mixture over pork chops and marinate for at least 6 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Grill pork chops over medium hot coals or on an iron griddle. Brush the grates or the griddle with oil to prevent the pork chops from sticking.Brush both sides of pork chops with remaining char siu sauce while grilling. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until pork chops are fully cooked. Serve with stir-fried snow peas.Shopping tip Char siu sauce is available in supermarkets in popular brands such as Lee Kum Kee.
