Ingredients
  

Grilled Rib-eye Steak with Spiced Coconut Sauce

  • 1 Cup canned coconut cream
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons Lemongrass Bulb (Tanglad)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 (300-gram) Beef (use rib-eye steak), sliced into 3/4 inch-thick
  • sea salt to season
  • vegetable oil for grilling
  • Buttered vegetables to serve (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine coconut cream, curry powder, turmeric, and lemongrass. Simmer for 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. set aside and keep warm.
  • Season steak with steak and pepper on all sides, just before cooking.
  • Prepare a charcoal grill or heat oil in a cast iron or grill pan. Grill or sear steak to desired doneness.
  • Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with spiced coconut cream sauce and buttered vegetables on the side.
