Ingredients
  

Gulab Jamon a la Mode

  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Waterrose Water Extract (optional and according to taste)
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions
 

  • Mix lemon juice with milk and put on very low heat, until you see curdles.
  • Take the curdles or milk solids and mix together with the flour. Knead together to make a fine dough.
  • Form the dough into small balls, like marbles.
  • Heat oil to 375°F for deep-frying. Fry the balls until they turn golden brown. Place the fried balls on a paper-towel-lined plate.
  • Prepare the syrup: Boil sugar and water together until the syrup gets a thread-like consistency. Then take it off the heat and add in rose water essence if you like.
  • Combine the syrup with the fried balls and top with scoops of vanilla ice cream. Where to buy Indian ingredients?
