Hot Glazed Wings

These spicy wings are perfect as bar chow or movie night with the family.

When making a big batch of this recipe, toss chicken wings in the chili sauce glaze a few pieces at a time to ensure that each wing is well-coated.

Hot Glazed Wings

  • 8 pieces Chicken use wings
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 4 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 drop liquid seasoning
  • Salt
  • 1 Cup Flour for dredging
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Sweet chili sauce
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Japanese mayonnaise
  • 1/2 Cup sour cream
  • Salt


  • Marinate chicken wings in paprika, allspice, 2 teaspoons hot sauce, liquid seasoning, and salt and pepper for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Steam chicken just until it changes in color, but not cooked.
  • Let it rest for few minutes, and then lightly dredge in flour. Deep-fry in oil. Set aside.
  • In another pan, mix butter, vinegar, sweet chili sauce and 4 tablespoons hot sauce. Heat until bubbly. Coat fried chicken wings.
  • Mix all ingredients for the sauce and serve chicken with carrot and cucumber sticks.
