This easy veggie side dish is a reliable go-to!
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 bunch kangkong (water spinach) leaves, kangkong (water spinach)
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
3 tablespoons garlic, toasted
3/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
Separate the kangkong leaves from the stalks. Cut the stalk into 2-inch length pieces. Set aside.
Saute the sliced kangkong stalks in hot oil. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour-in the oyster sauce, water, and cornstarch.
Cook for 1 minute or until the sauce starts to thicken.
Season with salt and pepper. Top with toasted garlic before serving.
