Upgrade your classic spaghetti with this unique dish!
350 grams spaghetti
250 grams bacon, chopped
1 medium red onion, diced
5 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup kimchi, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 cup salted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
salt, to taste
ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup spring onions, Chopped, for garnish
In a pan, boil water in a pot and cook pasta until al dente. Set aside.
In a sauce pan over medium heat, fry chopped bacon. Set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in the bacon fat. Add kimchi and sesame oil. Sauté for at least 3 minutes.
Add butter to the pan and melt. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add bacon.
Add the cooked pasta to the mixture and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce. Gradually add parmesan cheese and stir continuously. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve warm. Add chopped spring onions and extra bacon on top for garnish.
