Ingredients
  

Lengua ala Quito

  • 5 tablespoons demi-glace sauce
  • 150 Grams ox tongue (lengua)
  • 1/3 Cup canned button mushrooms sliced
  • 5 pieces green olives
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 2 teaspoons marinade from store-bought bottled olives
  • 1 tablespoon whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Boil demi-glace sauce then ox tongue slices, mushrooms, olives, and white wine. Add marinade from olive bottle, and season with pepper to taste.
  • Simmer until ox tongue is cooked then add and butter before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
